Sarah's Community Roots
Sarah Lucido has been a proud resident of Southeast Macomb County for more than 35 years. She and her husband Rick have raised their three children in our community. Sarah was first elected to Eastpointe City Council in 2015 and won reelection in 2019. She currently serves as Eastpointe's Mayor Pro Tem.

The Most Government Experience!
Elected government experience is a must for our next county commissioner. In her years in municipal government, Sarah has served as liaison for Eastpointe’s Planning Commission, Housing Authority, Arts and Cultural Diversity Commission, Beautification, Library, and Parks Commission. In addition, she currently serves as Board Vice Chair for both SEMSD (South East Macomb Sanitary District, and SMDA (South Macomb Disposal Authority). She is an active member of the Michigan Municipal League. Sarah understands the working of municipal and regional government. She will be ready on day one to advocate for the needs of our southeast Macomb County residents.

Sarah is a founding member of the Association of Community, Fraternal, and Veterans Organizations, a nonprofit group that works with other organizations to produce Eastpointe’s Memorial Day parade and Veterans Day events. She is a contributing member of the Impact 100 Macomb and Oddfellows charitable organizations. She is an active participant in Eastpointe’s P.A.C.E (Police and Community for Equality) committee. Sarah also volunteers her time for various other organizations including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Releaf Michigan.
